José Antonio Barragán
Experienced sommelier, host and trainer, with a wide professional experience developed in five star hotels and prestigious restaurants. José Antonio is a service technician, specialising in local, fortified, sherry, Andalusian, organic, natural and biodynamic wines.
He has received several awards and recognitions in his professional career: Al-Ándalus Award 2015 for the best head waiter in Andalusia. Best sommelier in the province of Cádiz 2018, representing him in the 24th National Sommelier Championship. Founding member of the ASC (Association of Sommeliers of Cádiz). Starring in the documentary ¨Revolución Líquida¨ alongside renowned sommeliers such as Celler de Can Roca and Mugaritz.
