Located at eye level with grazing herds of wildlife, the camp has been beautifully designed to capture the best views over the Serengeti plains, offering guests a peaceful and nurturing place of solitude and respite from modern life. Honey Guide
We assist with anti-poaching in the area and every guest that stays with us contributes $30 per night per person to help with funding them. Honeyguide runs community-based conservation initiatives across nearly 1.2 million acres of wilderness in Tanzania.
Tarangear Trust
We are also part of Tarangear Trust that promotes and supports local artisans along with other charities. Tarangear is an eco-fashion and lifestyle brand. Their beautiful products are sourced from Maasai fabrics and authentic tribal prints native to – and crafted in – Tanzania.

Set in the heart of the Serengeti plains, offering utter seclusion and great access to the annual migration and the ‘Big 5’. Nimali Central Serengeti is close to Makoma hill, best known for large herds of Buffalo, Giraffe, Elephants & predators such as Lions, Cheetahs and Hyenas. A good area for game viewing all year round.
Serengeti national park is one of the most renowned wildlife parks and is well known for its great migration. The variety and abundance of wildlife in the Serengeti is unmatched to anywhere else in Africa, which is why it is such an integral part of a Tanzanian safari.
As a family owned and operated brand with roots in East Africa since the late 1890’s, we want to share our knowledge and experience of this magical country with our guests. We have so much fondness for Tanzania, and that shines through when we welcome our guests.
Our passion for nature and desire to ensure our guests have a real African safari inspired us to custom design, and beautifully furnish each of our camps, creating sustainable and authentic safari experiences.

OUR STORY
Hidden away in a small kopje, the camp fits naturally into its surroundings amongst the trees and boulders with an infinity pool set within a natural cave. The lounge and dining areas offer spectacular views of the Serengeti plains. The natural kopje rock has been merged with contemporary and organic décor, along with copper fittings to create a warm ambiance.

Tarangire national park is a hidden gem on the northern safari circuit. The park is renowned for its stunning baobab trees and large herds of elephants. The park also provides excellent habitat for lion, leopard, buffalo and many antelope species unique to East Africa. These include the lesser kudu, fringe-eared oryx, gerenuk and grant’s gazelle.
Located only 2.5 hours from the city of Arusha, and adjacent to the eastern boundary of Tarangire National Park, Nimali Tarangire is the perfect starting or ending point for the northern safari circuit.
