Our menu is influenced by Italian and Spanish cuisine and is renewed seasonally based on a study of the products available on the market. We use high quality, local and carefully selected natural ingredients, these are the basis of our dishes, where we seek to highlight the purity and simplicity of each ingredient, without ornamentation.
In addition to the set menu, every day we offer a soup, a main course and a dessert of the day. Our wine list – mostly from Uruguayan wineries – is made up of wines specially selected by Lucía, designed to accompany the different dishes served in the best possible way.
Lucía Soria was born in Córdoba, Argentina in 1982. She began her career working with Argentinean chef Francis Mallmann at Los Negros (José Ignacio, Uruguay), Mendoza, (Argentina), Patagonia West (New York) and Patagonia Sur (Buenos Aires). She also worked with Paola Carosella, at Julia Restaurant (Sao Pablo).
She participated in the production of the book Seven Fires by Francis Mallmann, and settled in Pueblo Garzón, managing the Hotel Garzón and opened Lucifer, which operated until 2015 in the garden of her own home.
In 2012 she settled in Montevideo, where she set up the Jacinto project. In parallel with Jacinto, she was the executive chef Station in East Quogue (New York) and a judge in the reality TV shows: Masterchef (Uruguayan edition) and Fuego Sagrado.
