When the years of being in company with vineyards and grapes provided feelings with certainty and estimations with reliability, predictions were no longer difficult. Changes are the only constant on this path from generation to generation: my son Aleks is my best partner.”

A man of action. “I plan where we will be in ten years, how we will get there, who consumes our wines. Wine is passion, a love that warms the soul and sanctifies the work. And at the same time it is fair that emotions give way to reason. I can fall in love with wine: the right wine is that which takes me over with the first glass.”

Each of our hosts strive to have a positive impact on their local communities. Some of our hosts already have established connections with local partners to enrich the lives and wellbeing of their communities, others are in the process of creating these long term relationships. Community work

We support our local rotary club, community and people in need by hosting special charity events selling our most special bottles of wine to raise money for families or persons in need.

We own a second house in Medana village where we manage the contemporary art gallery. Martina organises cultural events such as literature talks, art talks, exhibitions and artist residencies as part of our Cultural NGO program. Through this we are able to promote artists and designers by exposing and selling their works to the public.

We promote local small businesses, alongside selling local homemade products such as jam, honey and olive oil and employ local young people to further support our community.
